Technology Architect – Enterprise & Cloud (Payer Domain)
Location: Remote within approved states (local candidates preferred for in-office x/month and people living in NJ,NY, PA, CT, DE or DC)
Term: Contract to hire
Rate: -hr (includes both w & CC rates) (rd party vendors not accepted)

We’re looking for a highly technical Technology Architect to help shape enterprise cloud and architecture standards in the payer healthcare space. This is a hands-on architecture documentation and governance role — not solution delivery — where your work will directly influence modernization projects like our Contact Center Modernization initiative. What You’ll Do

• Create architecture standards, patterns, and templates (including API/microservice patterns) that teams can consistently apply.
• Define cloud building blocks that support both short- and long-term needs.
• Partner with business and technical teams to document the “who, what, where, when, why” of our technology environment.
• Produce clear, standards-based documentation for Solution Architects to implement.
• Support strategic initiatives with technical evaluations and recommendations.

What We’re Looking For

• + years in Technology Architecture with an enterprise architecture focus.
• Strong cloud expertise (AWS preferred) and ability to define architecture building blocks.
• Knowledge of the payer healthcare domain and related data privacy considerations.
• Solid engineering/development background with recent focus on architecture and analysis.
• Proven experience creating structured, standards-driven documentation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TA- or similar documentation frameworks.
