Position Responsibilities :

Stage and inventory waste containers throughout the facility.

Ensure the integrity of waste containers.

Inspect waste containers for proper labeling and regulatory compliance.

Move full waste containers or those that have reached the regulatory time limit.

Manage waste in centralized storage area by segregating by waste type, emptying containers into a roll-off, and compacting waste in roll-off.

Record container into computer tracking system.

Participate in spill response.

Respond to trouble calls.

Run specified route driving a Forklift, APV, Tug, or other industrial truck.

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Perform decontamination activities, such as cleaning the respirator.

Ensure proper functioning of, clean, and maintain PPE.

Comply with safety policies and procedures.

Operate forklift safely and effectively.

Operate power tools, lifts, and other equipment safely.

Assist with non-hazardous waste as needed.

Provide additional support as needed.
