Position Summary :
The HR / Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management and payroll administration. This role ensures compliance with employment laws, manages HR policies and procedures, processes accurate and timely payroll, and supports a positive and productive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills, with a thorough understanding of HR best practices and payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Human Resources Management
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and labor laws.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Lead benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave programs.
- Conduct training, development, and compliance programs (e.g., anti-harassment, diversity, and safety).
Payroll Administration
Strong knowledge of ADPManage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain payroll systems and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.Review and reconcile payroll reports, deductions, and benefits contributions.Handle year-end payroll processes, including W-2s, 1099s, and other required filings.Partner with Finance to ensure accurate payroll accounting and reporting.Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with all labor, wage, and hour laws.Prepare HR and payroll reports for management and regulatory agencies.Stay updated on changes in employment and payroll legislation.Leadership & Collaboration
Collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with business goals.Promote a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in HR and payroll management or a similar role.Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices.Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, QuickBooks).Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.High attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity.Professional certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, CPP).Compensation :
