Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU AM Admit (Pre-Op) travel position, requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent PACU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Hospital-based PACU AM Admit (Pre-Op) unit
  • Mid-shift schedule : four 10-hour shifts per week, starting at 11 : 00 AM
  • No local candidates accepted within a 65-mile radius
  • Position involves AM admitting and pre-op responsibilities in the PACU
  • Holiday coverage and weekend shifts may be required per unit needs
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • COVID and flu vaccination documentation may be required
  • Scrubs or professional attire must comply with hospital dress code

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active VA or compact RN license required
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification, valid through at least the first 30 days of assignment
  • Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience
  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred
  • US Social Security Number required for consideration
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
