Shift : Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36 hrs / week

Length :  13 Weeks

4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays

Requirements :

AZ license

2 Years Experience

Recent med / surg experience

Must have level 1 trauma experience

BLS

Prefer : charge nurse experience; telemetry experience (in case they float to other units within the hospital) no to first time travelers

Other Details :

Charting System :  Cerner

No first time travelers

# Beds 22 private rooms

Nurse : Patient Ratios What are your nursing ratios? 1 : 4-5

Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Post op, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, infection

Floating Requirements? Other med / surg / tele areas; travelers are first to float. ICU RNs take ratio of 1 : 3
