Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with expertise in delivering respiratory care in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract opportunity offers a schedule designed for those who prefer consistent daytime hours, with the chance to apply respiratory therapeutic techniques and support patient breathing needs.

Schedule and Hours :

  • 36 hours per week
  • 3x12 hour shifts (06 : 00 18 : 30)
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Start date : November 3

Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care and therapy to patients in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
  • Perform assessments, monitor patients respiratory status, and adjust therapies to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of respiratory treatments and patient progress.
  • Employ advanced respiratory equipment and techniques to support critical patient care needs.

    • Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications mandatory
  • Preference given to candidates with RRT-ACCS credential
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
