Travel Information Division Procurement Specialist
Performs or coordinates advanced purchasing and procurement services for the Travel Information Division (TRV). Work involves coordinating a variety of procurement activities such as Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) and State Use Contracts. Serves as division subject matter expert and provides guidance on all procurement matters. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor. Essential duties include :
Responsible for obtaining / coordinating requirements related to Blanket Purchase Orders (BPO) and related procurement activities. Serves as TRV primary point of contact for the following divisions : Procurement, Contract Services, and Information Technology for inquiries related to procurement related matters. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures related to procurement activities. Provide technical and administrative assistance for contract and payment related requests from internal users. Create and / or maintain accurate files, reports, tracking logs and contract related documents. Coordinate the development and execution of State Use Contracts. Provide procurement related training to end users, including topics such as invoice reviews, receipt entry, voucher process verification and financial reconciliation. Assists with drafting Interagency Contracts. Assists with ensuring any contract or procurement agreement complies with state laws, agency policies, and cybersecurity standards. May participate with the development of statements of work. May review or monitor division contracts and assist with any further actions required. Coordinates the review and preparation of solicitations. Coordinates procurement and purchasing for the division. Develops, implements, and interprets procurement and contract related policies and procedures. Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
