Summary
Loving Touch Daycare in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Infant Teacher with a strong understanding of Quality Rated standards and Bright from the Start guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in an infant classroom, be able to follow and implement schedules, and create engaging lesson plans without additional training.
Duties
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment
- Implement daily schedules, routines, and lesson plans
- Maintain compliance with Quality Rated and Bright from the Start standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff through Brightwheel
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the classroom
- Support infants’ developmental milestones through planned activities
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a licensed childcare center infant classroomKnowledge of Quality Rated and Bright from the Start guidelinesCurrent CPR / First Aid certificationCompletion of at least 18 hours of annual training as requiredAbility to create and follow lesson plans independentlyStrong communication and organization al skillsProfessional, reliable, and passionate about early childhood educationNice To Haves
CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or higher in Early Childhood EducationAdditional infant / toddler care training beyond the 18 required hoursExperience with Brightwheel for daily communication and record-keepingFamiliarity with Georgia Quality Rated assessment processBilingual in English / Spanish (or other languages)Ability to implement creative, sensory, and music activities for infantsBenefits
