Job descriptionMinimum 5 years of experience working in a licensed childcare center infant classroom Knowledge of Quality Rated and Bright from the Start guidelines Current CPR / First Aid certification Completion of at least 18 hours of annual training as required Ability to create and follow lesson plans independently Strong communication and organization al skills Professional, reliable, and passionate about early childhood education CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or higher in Early Childhood Education Additional infant / toddler care training beyond the 18 required hours Experience with Brightwheel for daily communication and record-keeping Familiarity with Georgia Quality Rated assessment process Bilingual in English / Spanish (or other languages) Ability to implement creative, sensory, and music activities for infants Supportive and professional work environment Ongoing professional development and paid training hours Opportunities for career advancement within the center Consistent scheduling with no late-night shifts Paid holidays after probation period Employee childcare discount

Summary
Loving Touch Daycare in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Infant Teacher with a strong understanding of Quality Rated standards and Bright from the Start guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in an infant classroom, be able to follow and implement schedules, and create engaging lesson plans without additional training.
Duties
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment
- Implement daily schedules, routines, and lesson plans
- Maintain compliance with Quality Rated and Bright from the Start standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff through Brightwheel
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the classroom
- Support infants’ developmental milestones through planned activities
