Control System Engineer – Global Industrial Automation Projects

Location : Houston, TX

Our client, a leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, is seeking a Control System Engineer to join their Houston team. This is your chance to work on international projects that span oil & gas, petrochemicals, utilities, and renewable energy—helping industries innovate, optimize, and achieve world-class performance.

What You'll Do :

Lead installation, commissioning, and start-up of automation and control systems at customer sites worldwide
Perform site surveys, troubleshooting, and technical support (on-site & remote)
Program, test, and commission PLC / SCADA systems, including FAT and field work
Design and implement hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS systems
Work with wellhead facilities, control panels, skids, and solar systems
Interpret industrial standards, P&IDs, C&Es, and client specifications

What We're Looking For :

8+ years of field experience in control systems engineering and automation projects

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering

Hands-on Rockwell commissioning experience

PLC / SCADA programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning expertise

Strong knowledge of DCS, SIS, FGS hardware design and industrial instrumentation

Travel is typically 50–70%, involving both onshore and offshore assignments depending on project needs
