Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior CNC Machinist .

The Senior Machinist will lead complex setups, precision machining operations, and process optimization across our CNC equipment — including Akira Seiki, Haas , and similar platforms. You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and mentoring junior machinists, ensuring all parts meet tight tolerances and quality requirements.

This role requires a hands-on leader who takes initiative, understands efficient workflow, and can communicate effectively with engineering and programming teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex CNC setups and run production on milling and turning machines.
• Interpret blueprints, 3D CAD files, and GD&T drawings for precision machining.
• Edit and adjust G-code and M-code to optimize performance and quality.
• Train, guide, and support junior machinists on setup, tooling, and inspection.
• Inspect workpieces using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.).
• Recommend process improvements for tooling, fixtures, and cycle time reduction.
• Collaborate with engineering / programming to refine machining strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area.
