Job Summary :

Zymo Research is looking for a creative, hands-on part-time intern who's excited to try new things and turn ideas into real results. In this role, you'll help the team create useful, branded tools and assets-this could include graphics, videos, motion clips, audio elements, or presentations-using both traditional design tools (like Adobe Creative Suite) and newer AI platforms (such as Firefly, Canva, or similar).

You'll begin with a focus on branded visual assets (such as templates or media kits), then explore additional formats based on your strengths and what you uncover during your workflow review.

This isn't just about experimenting-you'll be expected to find areas where the design process can be faster or clearer, and deliver something that makes a lasting impact. That could be a set of reusable templates, a better way to organize content, or an idea that helps the team work more efficiently.

You don't need to be an expert in every format-but you should be eager to learn, explore, and create something useful that helps the brand communicate more clearly across different types of media.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Create branded templates and creative assets for social media, emails, presentations, brochures, and other marketing needs.
• Use design tools (like Adobe Creative Suite) and AI platforms (such as Adobe Firefly, Canva, or Midjourney) to improve quality and speed.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure all visuals follow brand guidelines and support business goals.
• Review existing creative output to identify opportunities for improvement-such as streamlining formats, fixing inconsistencies, or expanding asset types.
• Propose and carry out a final project that addresses a real workflow or communication challenge (e.g., a new template system, a reusable media kit, or a simplified process)
• Present your final project with clear documentation of your contribution and impact.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks :

The estimated base compensation range for this position is $20 / hour at the time of posting.
