Description Associate Medical Laboratory Scientist for Providence Regional Shared Service is Portland, OR. The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT / MLS personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. Required qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists. Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts. Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Laboratory Tech - United States Government.
