JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver, looking to care for our clients who need 24/hour care. MUST BE HCA REGISTERED!
Duties
Provide direct support to clients in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive engagement.
Ensure a safe and clean living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
Administer CPR or first aid when necessary and ensure emergency procedures are understood and followed.
Skills
Strong skills in patient monitoring to assess health status effectively.
Experience providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
Knowledge of dementia care practices to assist clients with cognitive impairments compassionately.
Proficiency in basic cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while providing care in a home setting.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
Certification in CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.
