Assignment Duration : 13-week contract

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1760 - $1890

On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Michigan or compact state)

BLS Certification (required before first shift)

ACLS Certification (required before first shift)

Minimum two (2) years of recent bedside clinical experience in a Med / Surg nursing job highly desired.

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients

Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff

Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team

Promote patient and staff safety by following hospital policies and clinical safety protocols

Initiate discharge planning and patient education from admission

Foster a positive, efficient work environment through teamwork and effective communication

Assume charge nurse duties as needed after orientation

Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing professionals
