Weekend Requirement every other depending on staffing. Would be at least one full weekend per month
Holidays not required, but will work if they are willing
Scrub Color / Uniform business causal attire
Hospitalist or Intensivist in house yes
RT / yes
Pharmacy / no
Shifts depends on dept but hours are between -pm
Do they cover all areas of hospital? Any outpatient? Any home care? All areas of the hospital, no OP and no Home Care
Floor specific orientation : days of care coordination new employee orientation, unit orientation timeframe depends case by case
Common duties / Required skills or knowledge : Dealing with all payers, uninsured, homeless. Completing Initial assessments, IQ, DC planning, cerner

Additional Questions Do you require case managers to be familiar with Interqual criteria? yes What other specific skills or knowledge are needed to be successful as a case manager at your facility? collaboration, teamwork, effective communication, ability to reprioritize throughout the day. We will train candidates in IQ. Both DC Planning and UM are required.
