Gracie’s Giving Hands is seeking a detail-oriented Database Specialist to help us organize and maintain critical information that supports our mission of empowering justice-impacted individuals, transitional housing residents, and at-risk youth across Los Angeles County. This role ensures that client progress, services, and program outcomes are accurately tracked—helping our team strengthen impact, compliance, and funding efforts.
Responsibilities :
- Create and maintain databases or spreadsheets to track client progress, intake records, and service outcomes.
- Develop organized systems for program data, referrals, case notes, attendance, and staff reporting.
- Ensure all records are complete, confidential, and compliant with HIPAA and nonprofit privacy standards.
- Generate reports for grants, audits, and internal program evaluations.
- Collaborate with staff to improve data collection methods and simplify reporting.
- Support transition from paper files to secure digital tracking systems.
Qualifications :
Strong computer skills (Google Workspace, Excel, or database software such as Airtable or Salesforce).Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.Organized and analytical mindset; able to solve data or tracking challenges.(Preferred) Experience with nonprofit reporting or social-services data systems.Commitment to Gracie’s Giving Hands’ mission and compassion for vulnerable populations.
