Mobile Facilities Engineer

Overview

Join our team as a Mobile Facilities Engineer and utilize your advanced skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. Work autonomously to monitor building system operations and performance while employing various trade skills including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations.
• Inspect building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, ensuring equipment operates within design specifications and meets client’s environmental conditions.
• Oversee and evaluate the work performed by external contractors, including landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning services.
• Execute repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and minor electrical systems while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Review work orders, estimate necessary time and materials for repairs, and procure supplies to effectively complete tasks.
• Perform carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as required.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations and after-hours calls, providing additional assistance as needed.
• Work independently and demonstrate initiative to accomplish both routine and complex tasks as assigned.
• Drive company vehicles and travel between job sites as needed.
• Stay informed by reading all internal publications.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Work Experience : 3-5 years of related experience and / or trade school training is required.
