Job Opportunity
We are seeking an Audiologist to provide professional opinions on hearing problem severity, diagnosis, causation, and assessing probability related to military service. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D) from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of clinic practice experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret tests to determine hearing impairment type and degree, such as air and bone conduction, and speech reception and discrimination tests.
- Evaluate test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical record reviews to determine likely cause of hearing loss and state prognosis.
- Operate computerized programs and utilize application software and databases to enter, modify, and access information into / from electronic medical records.
- Maintain patient confidentiality with written and verbal information per HIPAA.
- Conduct otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment.
