Recruiting Director / Regional Recruiting Manager
Unified Public Advocacy (UPA) is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization helping families and businesses recover after fires, storms, and other catastrophic events. We operate in 37 states, supporting a network of licensed adjusters, outreach professionals, and restoration partners who serve communities when they need it most. We are seeking a Recruiting Director / Regional Recruiting Manager with leadership experience and a passion for helping others succeed. The right person will build, lead, and manage a team of recruiters and field outreach agents nationwide individuals who begin as Outreach Trainees while enrolled in the Academy of Adjusters Pre-Licensing and Apprenticeship Program. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow UPA's national recruiting program for outreach agents and adjuster apprentices.
- Develop, coach, and oversee regional recruiters and field agents.
- Coordinate with the Academy of Adjusters to guide trainees through pre-licensing and certification.
- Set and track performance goals, onboarding metrics, and retention outcomes.
- Support outreach and workforce initiatives in collaboration with state workforce programs (CareerLink, Apprenticeship offices, etc.).
- Represent UPA's mission to community partners, fire departments, and emergency-response professionals.
Qualifications
Proven success in recruiting, management, or team leadership (preferred industries : fire service, restoration, construction, insurance, or nonprofit).Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a high-performance environment.Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to develop new markets and systems.Basic technical literacy (CRM tools, video calls, digital onboarding).Prior experience in the fire service, public adjusting, or restoration is a plus but not required.Compensation & Benefits
