#5219 1.0 Regular Substitute Elementary Teacher (2 positions)

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Valid NYS certification in Elementary B-6
• Experience teaching elementary preferably grades K-4
• Experience with the implementation of the Common Core standards, NYSE ELA and Math Modules, and instructional strategies.
• Experience implementing Common Core aligned units, lessons, and assessments
• Effective classroom management skills, demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, including planning, execution, and evaluation of materials, supplies, and lessons.
• Strong math and literacy background
• Character traits necessary to teach young children - enthusiasm, warmth, and dedication
• Ability to differentiate instruction
• Strong communication and teaming skills
• Technology skills
• Lifelong learner
