We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality operations, data analysis, and compliance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role partners with internal teams and suppliers to ensure products meet quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Quality team with routine SAP and MES activities by reviewing quality data from incoming materials through finished goods shipment.
- Assist with the creation, revision, and maintenance of quality procedures and documentation.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance quality tools, with a preference for SAP QM module experience.
- Support internal, external, compliance, and surveillance audits.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality-related issues.
- Manage and track Quality HOLD materials through disposition.
- Prepare and issue Material Test Reports (MTRs) for incoming and finished products.
- Authorize the release of finished goods for shipment in accordance with quality standards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns identified during incoming inspection or production.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a manufacturing-related role.
- Knowledge of tubular and/or steel manufacturing and testing (destructive and non-destructive) preferred.
- Familiarity with API and ISO standards is a plus.
- Experience with SAP systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and planning abilities.
