The Role
We're looking for a dynamic Manager of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to lead a high-performing team of five. You'll drive pipeline growth, coach and inspire your team, and collaborate with sales leadership to unlock new opportunities across schools and districts.
What You'll Do
Lead & Grow Talent : Recruit, onboard, and develop BDRs to exceed goals.
Drive Strategy : Build outreach plans, optimize lead qualification, and monitor pipeline health.
Collaborate : Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to accelerate growth.
Ensure Excellence : Oversee CRM accuracy, report performance, and stay ahead of market trends.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field.
35 years in sales / business development, with 12 years in leadership (EdTech, publishing, or SaaS preferred).
Proven ability to coach and develop sales talent.
CRM expertise (Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong communication skills.
Bonus Points :
Experience in K12 education.
Background managing BDR or inside sales teams.

Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Communications, or related field.
35 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, ideally with 12 years in a leadership or management capacity (preferably in EdTech, publishing, or SaaS) and a proven track record of coaching and developing sales talent.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and outreach tools.
Preferred :
Experience in the K12 education sector.
Prior experience managing BDRs or inside sales teams.
Knowledge of digital publishing, educational resources, or EdTech products.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows : Minimum full-time salary range is between $85,000 - $90,000. This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan, and information on benefits offered is here. Applications will be accepted through November 21, 2025.
