position(s) for the

2025-2026

school year.

The Child Care Assistant responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following :

Assist in conducting planned activities in SACC.

Work with children in small groups.

Provide leadership to children, supervising varied activities such as : sports, games,

crafts, and other program activities.

Assist in determining effective use of facilities and equipment.

Follow procedures to safeguard the health and safety of children in program.

Assist in providing nutritious daily snacks when needed.

Requirements : Must have prior child care experience

Fingerprinting required by NYS Education Department
