We’re the market leader in the UK and are active in a number of markets across the globe. This year we will also be building on our presence in the US by opening an office in Austin, TX.

Working closely with our CEO and co-founder, Alex Preece, who will be based in our new US Office, this role offers you the chance to become one of the founding members of our US operation!

We are looking for enthusiastic and positive People Assistant to support our growing team in the US in the key People areas; HR, Recruitment, Wellbeing, as well as organizing team events. This position sits at the heart of employee experience and reports to the Head of People (UK based) to ensure processes are followed and maintained, as well as having the full support of the wider People Team.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding

  • Maintain the HRIS with employee details and compliance
  • Liaise with HR support to arrange correct HR documentation
  • Manage the background checking process and ensure compliance with relevant law
  • Conduct HR onboarding for new starters

Compliance

  • Keep up to date with all HR legislation by researching and attending necessary events
  • Engagement

  • Nurture a positive working environment, promoting employees wellbeing
  • Support Tillo’s Mental Health initiatives within the US team
  • Create and organize events for the US team, i.e annual parties, awareness weeks, wellbeing activities
  • Employee Relations

  • Manage the staff absence procedure, advising employees on sick leave / holiday etc
  • Other
  • Present team updates / work to wider company

  • Support with US recruitment, updating the ATS and scheduling interviews
  • Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Excellent communication skills
