Key Responsibilities for Electrical Field Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field electricians and service technicians specializing in residential service and repair
  • Ensure all residential electrical projects and service calls are completed on time, within budget, and according to high safety and quality standards
  • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation for the residential service team
  • Conduct job site visits to support team members, monitor work, and uphold company standards
  • Provide technical guidance, resolve on-site issues, and foster continuous learning
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver integrated home automation and electrical solutions
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
  • Develop and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Build strong customer relationships by addressing service concerns and ensuring quality outcomes
  • Generate and review operational reports to track progress and identify areas for growth

    • What We're Looking For in an Operations Manager

  • Proven experience supervising or managing teams in the residential electrical service industry
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license (Texas) required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and best practices
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Familiarity with field service management software and reporting tools
  • Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record

    • Qualifications & Experience for Residential Electrical Operations Management

  • 5+ years of experience as a licensed electrician, with at least 2 years of people or operations management experience
  • Extensive experience in residential service environments; home technology experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or management certifications are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational results
