Job descriptionGED. At least ten years demonstrated experience as a licensed journey person electrician. Possess and maintain a valid Master Electrician’s license pursuant to the Michigan Electrical Administration Act of as amended. Satisfactory completion of an approved electrician’s apprenticeship program such as the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, or approved equal. Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License with safe driving record. Minimal ability to use a micro-computer and knowledge of basic spreadsheets, databases, and word processing application software. Demonstrated writing and reading skills; including blueprint reading. Ability to travel from building to building and floor to floor in multiple level buildings and concealed spaces. Ability to work in inclement weather as needed. Ability to distinguish colors within the visible light spectrum. Ability to climb a ladder to a minimum height of 20 feet. Ability to lift objects up to 60 pounds in weight, unassisted, to a height of at least three feet above floor level. We expect employees while working to interact with clients, co-workers, and management in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way.
