Job descriptionLegacy Santa Clara - 5616 Lawndale St Houston, TX 77023 Therapist (Clinic Based / Hybrid Schedule) - Job Overview Schedule : Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) Legacy Community Health is at the forefront of community wellness, dedicated to offering innovative and compassionate care. We are seeking a driven and dynamic Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on individuals and families by delivering high-quality, psychotherapy services to those with behavioral health needs. At Legacy, you will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, engage in meaningful therapeutic practices, and help shape the future of community health. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, as well as individual, couples, and family therapy for patients. Coordinate seamlessly with non-physician providers to ensure comprehensive psychiatric care. Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient encounters, promptly recording both direct and attempted contacts. Employ proficient psychotherapeutic modalities to address a spectrum of disorders, with a keen focus on childhood conditions. Reassess patients periodically and adapt treatment plans as required to achieve optimal outcomes. Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited institution "Fully" TX licensed as LCSW, LPC, and / or LMFT A minimum of 2 years of experience in psychotherapy Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset, with bilingual Spanish being preferred About Legacy Community Health As the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Southeast Texas, Legacy Community Health has been delivering comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable health care for nearly 40 years.
