Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school located in Watsonville, CA. This contract role runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, with a schedule of 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM Monday through Friday.

This opportunity serves as a Middle School Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher with a caseload of 28 students. Key responsibilities include delivering specialized curriculum and skill development, conducting assessments, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and participating in IEP meetings. Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff are essential for the success of this role.

Qualifications :

• Valid Special Education teaching credentials
• Experience working with middle school students in an RSP setting
• Proficiency in IEP development and pliance with special education laws
• Ability to implement individualized instructional strategies
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills
