Travel Nurse RN - Hospice - $2,648 per week in Rapid City, SD

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Hospice Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Home Hospice Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8 Hour Days Hours per Shift : 40 Experience : Minimum of 1.5 years in home health and hospice License : Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications : BLS, Valid Driver's License Must-Have : Experience in hospice philosophy, wound care, infection control practices, and critical thinking skills Description : Field work in the Rapid City area. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 0800 to 1630. Every third weekend will be required. Up to one 12-hour call shift per week. Home health and hospice patient types. Approximately manage a case load of 20-25 patients. Certified Nursing Assistants are provided in the home for patient support. Nurse will perform lab draws in the home. Nurse will need to drive at night. Wound vacs, PICC line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, and drains are key skills required for the role. Holiday work will be expected if holidays fall on a weekday. Scheduling requests will be discussed during the interview.
