Schedule Details :

Nights with 8 and 12-hour shifts

Every third weekend

Holiday rotation

About Your Role :

Be a vital part of our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, providing care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :

Post-operative patients following craniotomies and spine surgeries

Patients in our Comprehensive Stroke Program

High-volume cervical and spinal surgery patients

Your Responsibilities Include :

Delivering evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient care

Actively participating in creating positive patient experiences

Conduct patient assessments to inform individualized care plans

Monitor patient conditions and adjust care as needed

Facilitate safe patient discharge planning

Essential Qualifications :

Registered Nurse license for practice in your state

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Completion of an accredited nursing program

Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Skills and Abilities :

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to recognize and respond to patient needs swiftly

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Proficient with electronic medical record systems

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and carry patients as necessary

Stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
