The two primary roles of this position will be the transitioning (porting) of telephone numbers and the processing of internal orders within our company using Salesforce and other related systems.
The Local Number Portability portion of this position will be responsible for managing critical, and sometimes time-sensitive, day-to-day operational components for the delivery of our Business Voice Service. This includes (but is not limited to) Local Number Portability (LNP), Directory Assistance / Directory Listings (DA / DL), Caller ID, Customer and telephone back-office operations.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized individual, have the ability to assess situations quickly and use the appropriate technology to assist throughout the entire porting process.
Additional Duties Include :
- Coordinating resources and schedules with multiple departments
- Directly communicating with customers to coordinate the installation of voice services
- Coordinating number allocations with the customers
- Ensuring all authorization paperwork is completed properly
- Preparing, processing and managing all number reservation requests
- Managing order expectations, dates and commitments
- Following up on and correcting any order issues
- Building accounts in all required systems
- Preparing Local Service Requests utilizing systems and portals provided
- Submitting, tracking, documenting and monitoring submitted LSR / Port orders
- Managing Firm Order Commitment dates for port requests and relaying schedule changes to all applicable parties
- Inputting and resolving 911 location information for accounts and number
- Processing and resolving order rejects in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
