Job description? Review and analyze project plans and specifications to develop detailed cost ? Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on successful bids and ? Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors for pricing and ? Oversee estimating tools and process development. ? Provide strategic guidance on bidding strategies and mentor the estimating team. ? Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits for cost accuracy. ? Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. ? To be 18 years of age or older ? Authorization to work in the United States for this company ? 10+ years of construction estimating experience, including 3+ years in a management ? 7+ years' experience in utility construction ? 5+ years of utility estimating experience ? 2+ years in utility construction (telecom focus) ? Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills ? Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes ? Ability to read and interpret fiber design prints and construction specifications ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, online bidding tools, and digital calendars ? Consistent ability to meet sales targets and objectives ? Networking, customer relations, and negotiation expertise ? Independent and team-oriented work skills ? Valid California Driver's License ? Strong written and oral communication skills (Spanish bilingual is a plus) ? Demonstrated adaptability and learning agility ? Relevant estimating certifications preferred ? Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills ? Willingness to support company values, goals, and quality standards ? Experience in telecom / data infrastructure construction (domestic or international)
