Role : SAP MDG Functional Consultant

Role Overview

The SAP MDG Functional Consultant will be a key resource, leveraging extensive technical and functional expertise in SAP Data Management and Master Data Governance solutions. This role requires a blend of hands-on delivery experience, strong configuration skills, and the ability to provide best-practice guidance to clients, often within an onsite / offshore delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

Experience & Delivery : Apply 10+ years of techno-functional experience across applications including SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) , SAP Data Management , SAP Data Services (BODS) , and SAP Information Steward .

Consulting Expertise : Utilize at least 7 years of experience in a client-facing consulting delivery role , effectively managing and executing projects using an onsite / offshore delivery model .

MDG Configuration : Lead and execute configuration activities for core MDG objects, including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Financial Objects, and Material . The consultant must be able to advise on best practices within the SAP EIM / MDG solution stack.

Technical Frameworks : Demonstrate a strong understanding and hands-on experience across core MDG frameworks, specifically :

Central Governance

Consolidation and Mass Processing

Data Quality Management (DQM)

Core MDG Skills : Possess a strong grasp of technical requirements related to data / process modeling, UI Design, derivations, duplicate data checks, and Rule-based Workflow (BRF PLUS) .

Data Replication : Exhibit a solid understanding of replication frameworks covering data transfer, ALE / IDOC, key & value mapping , and the MDG functions for export, import, and conversion of master data .

Integration (Plus) : Experience or a broad view of data platforms commonly used with MDM, such as NetWeaver, XI, Tibco, and ABAP , is a significant advantage.

Communication (Preferred) : Experience presenting complex solutions and findings to senior customer leadership is preferred.
