Job Summary :
40-hour exempt supervisory position with rotation to evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Provides clinical care to patients as necessary to meet unit needs.
Reports to the Nurse Manager of the Maternity / Newborn unit. Works collaboratively with the Managers of North 8 and Labor and Delivery to facilitate a smooth transition of patient care and sharing of resources.
Key Accountabilities :
Qualifications
Current CT RN license
BSN required, MSN preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of Maternal / Newborn clinical experience
Management or supervisory experience preferred
Certification in BLS, NRP
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to handle working in a busy environment
Able to multitask
