HOME HEALTH INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE

• Knowledge of home health care and IV therapy. Care of peripheral and central lines.
• Knowledge of Infusion therapy Modalities including infusion pumps.
• Experience in the following skill sets recommended : PORT care; Central line care; Starting Peripheral IV, Venipuncture, Foley Catheter Care, Wound care, Wound Vac application, Ostomy care, Pleurx, Medication and Disease Process teaching.
• Knowledge of medications, indications, dosage ranges, side effects and potential toxicities.
• Exceptional standards of patient care and communication.
• Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure.
• Continuous education of developments in the field of nursing and infusion therapy.
• Meets State Board of Nursing, Health and Rehabilitative Services and accreditation agency’s requirements.
