Job Title : Director of Sales, Logistics Solutions

Summary : Vanmovers Logistics Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales to spearhead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics industry, a proven track record in sales leadership, and a passion for building high-performing teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring the sales team consistently exceeds targets.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Growth : Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Vanmovers\' business objectives, with a focus on expanding our market share and acquiring new clients in the logistics sector.
- Team Leadership & Development : Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of Account Managers, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to maximize their potential and drive results.
- Client Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their logistics needs are met with the highest level of service.
- Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics market, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, or strategic alliances that drive growth.
- Sales Operations & Performance Management : Oversee the sales process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and account management.
- Monitor sales performance metrics (e.g., booked sales, revenue growth, customer acquisition) and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimize the client experience.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred.Experience : 5-7 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the logistics industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Skills :
