Position Summary

As part of our operations team, the Electrician will provide support to keep our equipment, processing plants, and site facilities operating. This is a great opportunity for someone mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to build a career in an exciting industry. We provide education, training, safety instruction, and opportunities to grow your skills while working alongside experienced team members. Home base for this position will be at the Columbus Plant.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, motors, and equipment.
• Learn how to troubleshoot and repair controls, drives, and electrical components for conveyors, crushers, pumps, and other mining machinery.
• Read and follow diagrams, schematics, and instructions to complete jobs safely and correctly.
• Help with regular equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance tasks.
• Use tools and testing equipment under the guidance of experienced electricians.
• Work closely with fellow team members to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Follow all mine safety requirements, including lockout / tagout and electrical safety rules.
