Job Overview :

Are you a hands-on leader with strong technical skills and a passion for driving operational excellence? We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Lead to oversee our maintenance operations and team. In this critical role, you’ll lead maintenance initiatives, coordinate daily priorities, and ensure all production and facility equipment operates at peak performance. Your leadership will be vital in mentoring technicians, optimizing preventive maintenance programs, and supporting continuous improvement across our operations.

What You’ll Do :

As the Maintenance Lead , you will :

Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Oversee and execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system troubleshooting and repairs.

Manage daily maintenance schedules, prioritize urgent repairs, and ensure timely completion of work orders.

Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and streamline maintenance processes.

Monitor and improve preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and lifespan.

Oversee spare parts inventory, ensuring cost-efficient and accurate control of resources.

Conduct hands-on repairs, welding (TIG, MIG, ARC), fabrication, and machine maintenance as needed.

Support facility upgrades, capital projects, and safety initiatives.

Travel occasionally to other locations for training, troubleshooting, or project support.

What You’ll Bring :

A high school diploma or GED, plus completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent technical experience.

5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing , including leadership or lead technician roles.

Strong proficiency with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLC troubleshooting.

Experience with CMMS systems, preventive maintenance scheduling, and inventory management.

Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to train, coach, and motivate others.

Preferred qualifications include :

An Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.

Previous experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements :

This role requires physical engagement, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting items over 50 pounds. Weekend or off-shift work may be required to meet operational needs.
