The Compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview :

Cytologist will be present in the operating room to provide onsite adequacy of FNAs, EBUS, and EUS procedures when needed. Cytologist will complete cytological screening of Non-GYN and GYN cases.

Qualifications : Required :

• Bachelor's Degree in Cytotechnology or equivalent
• Graduate from an approved School of Medical Technology

Essential Functions :

Acts as coach / cheerleader in the department in building consensus and staff motivation to exceed departmental and hospital goals,

90 percent of cases reported within 72 hours of collection

Acts as key operator for equipment as needed

CAP inspection with less than 2 phase II deficiencies
