Primary Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories, performing comprehensive physical examinations, and assessing patients' overall health status.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions as necessary.
Implement preventive healthcare strategies, including routine screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling, to promote disease prevention and early detection.
Manage patients with chronic conditions, develop personalized care plans, monitor disease progression, and adjust treatment regimens as needed to improve patient outcomes.
Educate patients about healthy lifestyle choices, disease management, and self-care practices to empower them to actively participate in their healthcare.
Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient referrals, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for complex medical cases.
Document all patient interactions, assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Advocate for patients' healthcare needs, ensuring that they receive appropriate and timely medical services and resources.
Establish and maintain strong doctor-patient relationships, providing ongoing care, follow-up, and support as needed.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, and clinical audits to enhance patient safety and care standards.
Stay abreast of medical advancements, research, and best practices to continuously improve medical knowledge and clinical skills.
