A national leader in the boutique fitness industry is seeking a qualified General Manager to focus on driving sales and service excellence for our luxury fitness brand. POSITION : The General Manager will lead the delivery of our sales and membership growth targets. This role is comprised of 80-90% sales & marketing, and 10-20% staff management and studio operations.
REQUIREMENTS :
1+ years in the fitness industry and a passion for wellness2+ years of sales and marketing experienceProven experience in social media marketing and grassroots community outreach marketingConfident in generating sales, completing cold calls, and converting leadsOrganized with strong attention to detail, able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlinesProfessional, punctual, reliable and relatableAbility to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retailData-driven, experienced with navigating CRMs, tracking and delivering metric targetsMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phoneMust be solution-based, results-oriented, possess a competitive spirit and ability to deliver with a sense of urgencyAbility to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgmentSolid writing and grammar skillsTrustworthy and ability to handle confidential informationAbility to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general publicProficiency with computers and Studio softwareCandidates must be able to work a flexible schedule of up to 6 days a week, 50-60 hours including evenings and weekend availabilityDUTIES :
Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and networkingSchedule and participate in networking / community events and studio promotionsSecure and convert organic and digital leadsManage our social media presence and drive social media marketing campaignsImplement sales process to schedule prospects into first visit and membership salesDrive retail salesManage the front desk to greet and check-in clients and prospects when they enter the studioConduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting an individuals needs and wantsProficiency in gym management software and POS to include revenue reports, etc.Independently make decisions related to high-level customer serviceMaintain cleanliness and organization of the studioEnforce studio policies and proceduresHire and manage staff scheduling and meetingsAny other duties as assignedCOMPENSATION & PERKS :
