Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Hyannis, MA 02601 (Cape Cod – top destination for Massachusetts healthcare jobs) Facility Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) – float between units Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : February 28, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Weekly Hours : 36 hours (12-hour night shifts : 7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am) Schedule : Every other weekend, rotating holidays, unpaid lunch Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100 - $2250 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Proficient in English (reading, writing, communication) Completion of CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams (or willingness to obtain) Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), CCRN, TCAR, De-escalation Certification Preferred skills : Hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, intracranial pressure monitoring Key Responsibilities for ICU Travel Nurse Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare personnel Maintain accurate and current patient records and documentation Document assessments, care plans, and discharge planning Communicate pertinent data to allied healthcare providers Demonstrate proficiency as charge nurse and serve as a clinical resource Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Adhere to hospital policies, including safety and infection control standards Maintain patient confidentiality and represent the hospital positively in the community Perform other duties as assigned by nursing supervisor Experience the best of Cape Cod while making a difference in critical care nursing.
