Overview
The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Information Technology Support Specialist. The IT Support Specialist provides administrative and technical support to the court in a wide range of areas. They perform routine troubleshooting and end-user support, and assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software. They also perform routine network administration and participate in more complex duties including developing standards, recommending network infrastructure changes, and coordinating and implementing network security measures.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States. The selected applicant will undergo FBI fingerprint checks and may be subject to periodic updates. Employment may begin provisionally pending completion of required checks. The position requires mandatory electronic funds transfer (direct deposit) for salary payments. Employees are appointed in the excepted service and serve at the pleasure of the Court. Adherence to the Code of Conduct for Judicial Employees is required.
