Synertex LLC is seeking qualified candidates for an Accountant and Auditor (SME) role in support of a mission-critical program. This position is contingent upon contract award. The SME will provide expert-level financial oversight, auditing, and advisory services to ensure compliance, transparency, and accuracy of financial operations in secure environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements and reports.
• Audit financial systems and statements to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
• Advise leadership on financial controls, risk management, and accounting best practices.
• Develop and implement systems of recording costs and budgetary data to improve financial tracking.
• Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support preparation for internal and external audits, ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior accountants or financial staff.
