Billing Clerk - Part Time!

Job Full Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Clerical/Billing Specialist to support a transportation company near Madison's west side. This role is ideal for someone with prior billing and invoicing experience who is comfortable working independently, learning new systems, and managing multiple administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities

• Process billing and invoicing, including trucking load invoices
• Track and report mileage for payroll purposes
• Submit invoices and payments through various client portals
• Perform basic accounting and clerical tasks
• Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
• Communicate with internal staff as needed regarding billing and documentation

Qualifications

• Previous experience with billing, invoicing, and basic accounting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable navigating multiple online client portals and systems
• Ability to learn new software and processes quickly (software is trainable)
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
