Dentist

Pay rate : $78.00 per hour.

Shift hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm.

Client : SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (Pee Dee Regional Center).

Job Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision of the Facility Administrator, oversees the provision of all dental services at the Pee Dee Regional Center.
• Administers clinical dental services to the residents of the Pee Dee Regional Center.
• Clinical services included but are not limited to examinations, prophylaxis treatments, scaling and root planing, and minor surgical interventions when appropriate.
• Responsible for administrative services necessary to sustain an ongoing comprehensive dental services operation.
• Responsible for development and maintenance of efficient scheduling of dental activities for Pee Dee Regional Center residents.
• Supervises and provides management support for all professional and para-professional personnel in the dental department.
• Develops, maintains, and promotes an ongoing dental prophylaxis program.
• Promotes good oral hygiene of residents through comprehensive oral hygiene educational programs to consumers.
• Orders necessary dental equipment and maintains the DPH requirements for radiology, autoclave and nitrous.
