Senior Echocardiograph Tech - Cardiology Clinic, Santa Monica

Description

Under the supervision of the UCLA Cardiac Imaging Medical Director, Operations Director, Manager

and Supervisor, the Senior Echocardiographic Technician performs all

2-dimensional, M-mode, and Doppler studies including Stress echocardiogram, Pharmacological

stress echocardiogram, and Transesophageal echocardiograms. The Senior

Echocardiographic Technician notifies (By Pager) Cardiac Imaging Physicians for

any URGENT, STAT and / or Pre-Operative Echo Readings.Prepares preliminary interpretation of those

studies. Prepares and maintains records pertinent to echo studies. Performs other duties as assigned and directed

by the UCLA Cardiac Imaging Physicians, Manager, and Supervisor.

Salary Range : $61.46 - $81.12 / hourly

Qualifications Required :

• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.
• Ability to be Registered (ARDMS ) in adult cardiac echocardiography (AE) RDCS or pediatric echocardiography (PE) RDCS.
• BLS from the AHA or ARC with the ability to deliver basic cardiac life support.
• 3 years of Adult or Pediatric / Fetal echo tech experience
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography

technology program.
