Job Description

What this job involves :

The Lead Operating Engineer handles day to day maintenance operations for JLL in Delta Air Lines plating shop, responsible for oversight of mechanics conducting maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVACR, hoists, motors and pumps, roll-up doors, air scrubbers, monthly LMS and My Learning computer training, and KPI completion utilizing the Corrigo work order system.

Essential Functions

• Comply with all safety procedures.
• Participate in Client project meetings.
• Oversight of mechanics on first shift.
• Maintain equipment in an industrial setting.
• Lead operations team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts; report on as-found conditions.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
• Recognize danger and safety hazards; propose methods to eliminate them.

Qualifications

Physical Work Abilities and Requirements : This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working / extending overhead, including working from ladders / lifts.

Location : On-site Atlanta, GA.
