Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Peds Adult

Job Details : \n

  • Provide professional nursing care for pediatric through geriatric patients in the Special Care Unit
  • \n

  • Function independently within 18 months of employment
  • \n

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document physical condition each shift
  • \n

  • Monitor patients for changes and notify physicians of significant findings
  • \n

  • Conduct initial patient interviews and create individualized care plans
  • \n

  • Maintain safe environment for patients and staff
  • \n

  • Initiate and document patient education plans and teaching interventions
  • \n

  • Lead interdisciplinary team and participate in utilization review
  • \n

  • Administer medications and perform treatments per hospital standards
  • \n

  • Evaluate patient progress and ensure safe discharge planning
  • \n

  • Attend 90% of Acute Care Nursing Staff meetings
  • \n

  • Participate in performance improvement activities and continuing education
  • \n

  • Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient goals
  • \n

  • Maintain greater than or equal to 95% medication barcode scanning compliance
  • \n

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred
  • \n

  • Montana nursing license required
  • \n

  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification required
  • \n

  • ACLS and NRP certifications required within 12 months
  • \n

  • PALS certification preferred
  • \n\n
