Looking for compassionate licensed physical therapists with a dynamic personality and orthopedic experience to work in a close knit, patient-centered environment. We see a variety of orthopedic cases - sports, industrial, pre / post surgical, geriatric, post partum, etc. This PT owned clinic supports professional growth and autonomy, collaboration, flexibility, and family balance.
Current Hawaii Physical Therapy License is required. 1 year outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to start your orthopedic PT career here! We support continuing education in order to provide our patients with the best care possible.
Responsibilities
Perform initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and return to work or sport assessmentsDevise and execute detailed, effective treatment and care programs for patientsCommunicate and coordinate with patients physicians to ensure a consistent level of careEffectively communicate and coordinate with patients and caregiver to ensure that their problems, concerns, and goals are addressedRecord daily SOAP and regular Progress notes on EMRAssist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiriesComply with federal and state physical therapy regulationsComplete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two yearsQualifications
Current Hawaii state physical therapy license requiredCurrent CPR Certification requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to create a positive, nurturing environmentFamiliarity with documenting on EMRThe ability to work well and make decisions in a high-stress environment
